Discover Lorgues and the ‘Green Provence’

La Bohème is situated in the peaceful Hameau de Provence neighbourhood, about a 12- to 13-minute walk from the historic centre of Lorgues.

You can easily reach shops, cafés, restaurants, artisan boutiques and the famous Provençal market on Tuesdays.

Lorgues is one of the most popular villages in the Var region, thanks to its authentic atmosphere, ancient alleyways, fountains, stone houses and the typical Provençal way of life.

Every Tuesday, the large Provençal market brings the streets to life with local producers, regional specialities, fruit, vegetables and handcrafted goods.

Lorgues also boasts a rich heritage: cobbled streets, ancient churches, fountains and stone buildings bear witness to its medieval past.

The village is surrounded by several renowned wine estates, some of which offer cellar tours and tastings of Provençal wines.

Less than 25 minutes’ drive away, you can also discover the spectacular waterfall at Sillans-la-Cascade, situated around 22.5 kilometres away.

How to get here and get around?

By car

Lorgues is easily accessible via the D10 or the D562, about 25 minutes from the Le Muy–Draguignan exit on the A8 motorway.

Parking is free near the accommodation. Spaces are available along the white fence and the building’s wall.

Several public car parks also provide easy access to the town centre, including:

the Barbacanne car park;

the Jean-Moulin car park;

the car park on Rue Amiral-d’Entrecasteaux.

By train

The nearest station is the SNCF and TGV station at Les Arcs–Draguignan, located about 15 kilometres away (around 20 minutes by car or taxi).

It offers connections to Marseille, Nice and several major French cities.

By plane

The main airports for travelling to Lorgues are:

Toulon–Hyères: about 1 hour’s drive;

Nice Côte d’Azur: about 1 hour 15 minutes’ drive;

Marseille Provence: about 1 hour 30 minutes’ drive.

From the airports, you can hire a car, book a taxi or travel to Les Arcs–Draguignan railway station before continuing on to Lorgues.

By bus

Lorgues is served by the ZOU! regional network, with services to Draguignan, Vidauban and Les Arcs, amongst others.

The Lorgues Centre bus stop is about a 15-minute walk from the accommodation.

By bike

The countryside around Lorgues and the surrounding villages are ideal for cycling.

Bike hire options are available in the area, notably from Châteaux à Vélo and Vélo Concept Store in Saint-Antonin-du-Var.

On foot

Lorgues town centre is about 900 metres from the accommodation.

Once there, you can walk to the Provençal market, the shops, restaurants, cafés and the village’s main historic sites.
