The village is also renowned for its Le Thoronet Cistercian Abbey, a true jewel of Romanesque art in Provence, listed as a historic monument. Just a few minutes from the villa, it is an unmissable visit to immerse yourself in the history, architecture and soul of the region.
Around the villa, nature is experienced on foot: hiking trails, Var hills, shaded woodlands and unspoilt landscapes. The area offers a rare balance between calm, Provençal authenticity and proximity to major sites in Var.

« A lovely, peaceful house situated a little way up the hill. A lovely, shady outdoor seating area for breakfast and so on; the kitchen is so well equipped it leaves almost nothing to be desired. The large swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers was the absolute highlight. There are a few nice restaurants in the village, though the walk to and from the house without a car is quite steep and rather tiring. We’d love to come back. »
« We’ve had a really lovely stay in the house. It’s large, spacious and ideal for a large family or group. There’s plenty of room for 12 people, both indoors and outdoors, without it feeling cramped. The large swimming pool was a definite highlight and was used extensively by both children and adults. The area around the pool is lovely, and there are plenty of opportunities for both relaxation and shared meals. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and we found it to be a peaceful and cosy place with plenty of space for socialising. It worked really well for our group, and we would definitely recommend the house to others travelling in a larger group who want plenty of space, privacy and a large swimming pool. »
